Goodnight is constantly trending because of the masses of tweets telling everyone that their off to bed! Not so much a buzz…but a mass exudes to NightNight Land!

MusicMonday is a buzz topic on Twitter. This is were everyone will tag their favorite song of the day next to musicmonday. This trend is still number one even on Tuesday though!

CSS being Cascading Style Sheets is a language used to style websites. CSS 3 is starting to become ever more prevalent as older browsers become used less. More advanced techniques are coming to surface. Even though CSS 3 technology has been round for some time, it takes a while for web designers to expand to use the newer features for fear of browser compatibility.

Smashing Magazine, an online Web Development / Design Resource has just released a new article called 50 New CSS Techniques For Your Next Web Design thus making it trend on Twitter.

Apollo 11 moon landing trends today because it was exactly 40 years to the day tat they landed on the moon. They’ve been pushing for a Mars landing. Some people believe the lunar landing was a fake. What do you think?

Harry hits the trends because the 6th series of the Harry Potter films hits the silver screen. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince hits cinemas. We haven’t heard if it was any good though. What do you think?

Top Gear is trending because of the new series that is on BBC One in the UK. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May present the cult show. Daring, endearing and typically British with the roar of some amazing cars and slap stick adventures. Great fun and a good watch.

This is probably know the most obvious trend topic that will ever occur. Michael Jackson a.k.a The King of Pop, passed away on the June 25, 2009. Tragically, Jackson was suspected to died of a lethal cocktail of medication and stress. The funeral was a spectacular, with a Golden Cofin and tributes from Mega Stars from within the music industry. R.I.P. Jacko. 2009. His music will live on forever.

AT&T is constantly in and out of the trending topics, which is out of the ordinary for a telecommunications company. The fact that AT&T is intrinsically linked with the iPhone in America means they are constantly talked about. Usually, the buzz is never that positive. The iPhone (the main reason that AT&T get so much Tweet Space) never seems to be tarnished by AT&T bad press. People have described the two way relationship between as the Apple iPhone and AT&T as marrying the girl of your dreams who’s money hungry shop-a-holic (iPhone + ‘Free’ 3G) but having to put up with an evil father-in-law that thankfully pays for everything the girl wants (AT&T). It would be interesting to see which other provider could provide a better service.

Alberto Contador is currently winning the Tour De France. Apparently, there is some bad blood between him and Lance Armstrong and he’s having a hard time accepting that he’s losing to the Spain Machine. Lance Armstrong finished a full minute and a half behind Contador today. Contador is first, Armstrong is second.

Peter Andre and Jordan have been in a fierce split, now getting divorced and are doing the usual rounds of interviews bitching about each other. They got together on UK’s I’m a celebrity, Get me out of here! 4 years ago. Of course, we didn’t see that coming? Publicity stunt? What do you think?
