American Idol Birthday Party Ideas
American Idol is a hugely popular show that allows various pop star wannabes to follow their dreams and become the next American Idol. Of course, most fall flat on their faces and for some that is all part of the fun of watching the show. However, there are a few individuals who achieve their dreams of pop stardom on the show, and have created some of the best music of the 21st century.
Your children most likely watch the show, and they are going to start emulating the pop stars they see. As well, they are going to come to you and ask for an American Idol themed birthday party, so it is good idea to be prepared. Thankfully, through some imagination and these party ideas, it will be easy to be prepared.
Make an Outfit
Some of the people that audition on American Idol are remembered for what they wear. So, give the kids a paper bag to wear over their clothes, and then let them put various pieces of flair on it to make it unique. Let them paint it, put streamers on it, and anything else they can think of to make them stand out.
Audition Time
The biggest part of American Idol is the auditions, so if you are going to have an American Idol themed birthday party, then you are going to need to have auditions. However, there is a big difference between your auditions at the birthday party, and the auditions on the actual show. You have to be a lot nicer than Simon is, because you do not want the kids crying because you are mean. So give them goofy answers like ‘It was good, but I think if you did it in a deep voice it would be better.’ Once the kids do it in a deeper voice, make them go deeper and deeper in their voice until they are giggling about how it sounds.
Happy Birthday
Once the kids have all auditioned, tell them you are going to record a CD now for them. Then, have all the kids, including the birthday boy or girl, sing Happy Birthday. Using just a computer and recorder, you can easily record it and burn it onto a few CDs for the kids. If you have a color printer, you can even make a label that features all of them auditioning. If you want to go the extra mile, put pictures of them auditioning on the CD for them.
At some point, you can expect your children to ask for an American Idol themed birthday party. It may seem like a daunting task, and it is unlikely you will get Simon Cowell out to the birthday party, so you need to use your imagination. Tweens and Teenagers have gone wild over this human and vampire romance story. It’s is easy to understand too. Who wouldn’t want dreamy Edward Cullen, the almost perfect mate….even if he is a vampire!
With the popularity of Twilight, more and more teenagers want to use Twilight party ideas to create a unique and interesting theme for their parties…birthdays, Halloween or just any “I-feel-like-wanting-to-throw-a-party” occasion.
So where do you find good Twilight party ideas? It’s easy. Read the books and get your party ideas right from them. Begin with your color scheme…black and red…and white. Just look at the book covers and you will begin to get ideas from them. Use these basic colors for your decorations and your party supplies…the table cloths, plates, invitations…everything!
On the cover of the first book, Twilight, there is a red apple. So put apples all over the table. Put them in fruit bowls set on the table or put one next to each place setting, or even right on top of every plate.
Do you own the Twilight Soundtrack or DVD? It would be the perfect music for this party theme. If not, why not download some of the soundtrack songs. You can do that for free online. Even though the Cullen’s are not Fang bearing blood suckers you can wear vampire fangs and some sparkle make up. If you really want to play the part you can get some FX Vampire Lenses for your eyes. They come in all colors and designs and are really hypnotic to look at.
If you have a few Twilight posters, or can buy a couple, they would go far as decorations for your party room. You can also use pictures of the cast and characters cut out from magazines and put into picture frames.
Twilight Games! Of course, no party is complete unless you play some fun games. Twilight trivia and quizzes are very popular amongst the Tween and Teen age fan group. Just go through the books to get some questions and quotes to use. I’ve heard there was even a Twilight board game, but have never seen one myself. Have you? Is it any good?

With the release of the Twilight DVD a couple months ago, our Twi-obssession was sated for awhile…but once again,we need our Twilight fix, and right now, there’s not much to keep us in good supply other than the casting leaks from New Moon.

The complaint is against 4 parties, but recently another party is taking action. I would like to add them to the lawsuit against the 4 parties and make it 5 parties, but I don’t know what paperwork to file to do this. Any help will be appreciated.

I feel if I always tell him no he will wish that he stepbrothers never come over. My oldest step son is very jealous of my son. Any words of advice. My husband says if all can’t go to the party then no one should go. I don’t think that is fair to my son.
